                                       WELCOME TO XPERIA SP DEVELOPMENT

 

 

Here is a tutorial to root your device,unlock bootloader,install custom recoveries and flash your favorite rom.

First of all root your device. Here is a guide to root your device.

Requirements:

1. Update your Xperia SP to the latest firmware.

Procedure:

1. Download Towelroot app from here.
2. Install it in your phone.
3. Open towelroot app.
4. Click on root.

You have successfully rooted your device.

 Now you have to unlock bootloader of your device.Here is a guide to do it.

Requirements:

1. Install drivers from here.
2. Download flashtool from here.

Procedure:

1. Open Xperia development site from here.
2. Move down to that page and select your device(Xpeira SP) and continue.
3. Enter you email address.
4. A mail containing a link will be sent to you from sony.
5. Open that link and enter your IMEI number and continue.
6. You will get unlock code for your device.
7. Save that code in a note pad.
8. Power off your device.
9. Press and hold volume up.
10. Connect your device to pc with usb cable.
11. Open flashtool and click BLU.
12. Disconnect your device.
13. Connect your device in flash mode by pressing and holding volume down.
14. Enter your Unlock code.

You have successfully unlocked your device bootloader.

Now you have to flash custom recovery in your device.Here is a guide to do.

Procedure:

1. Download recoveries installer from here.
2. Extract it to your desktop.
3. Go to extracted folder.
4. Connect your device(Xperia SP).
5. Open install.bat
6. Select 1 to install recoveries.

Guide to enter into recovery:

Turning on the phone will see four lights advancing (GREEN-WHITE-RED/BLUE) when the blue light show press: 

• Volume up -> Philz 
• Volume Down -> TWRP 
• Camera button -> CWM Touch 

Now your are almost done.Its time to flash ROM's in your device.Here is a guide to do.

Requirements:

1. Download Rom you want to flash.For Xperia SP roms click here.
2. Backup your rom from custom recovery.

Procedure:

1. Copy your Rom to internal or external storage.
2. Open recovery.
3. Wipe cache,system,dalvik cache,data.
4. Select rom from internal or external storage and flash.
5. Reboot system now.
6. First boot may take long time(5mins).
